For over 20 years, Hind Rabii Lighting Studio has produced collections expressing a clear philosophy: to combine the pure lines of Scandinavian design with the creativity of its founder, drawing inspiration from her country of origin and beyond.
Created in 1997, the company takes its name from its founder, who runs it with her husband Michel Orban. Born in Morocco in 1973, Hind Rabii studied industrial engineering in Belgium and cultivated a passion for fashion and art, expertly tracking down the most elegant fabrics and patterns before concentrating on lighting.
The collections are defined by the variety of materials and the elegance of detail: metal worked by hand in gold, chrome, or copper; glass blown for generations in Murano; and ceramic sourced from the Venice region. Today they are displayed in the finest lighting and interior design showrooms in the world.
